The National Association of Primary Care launched it Nurses Voice network in 2015.

We recognise there are many organisations representing nursing. But as a leading national membership organisation representing and supporting the interests of all healthcare professionals, working across the breadth of Primary Care, the NAPC are looking to bring together this representation of nurses and the nursing profession at a more strategic level.

We strongly believe that workforce development in primary care must be focused on building teams with the right skills needed to address local population care needs. The nursing profession plays a crucial role in this and in the required whole-system approach for integrated workforce models of care. We feel it's essential to align thoughts from across the nursing profession and ensure a seat at the table, giving it a strong voice in the discussions and implementations on the future of primary care.

The NAPC host a number of roundtable discussions represented by the Royal College of Nursing, Health Education England, NHS England and the Queens Nursing Institute amongst its regular attendees.
