PRESS RELEASE

NAPC introduces the eManager Complaints Handling System

An expert system for GPs allowing effortless compliance with the new NHS Complaints Regulations 2009.

NAPC is pleased to announce its partnership with X-Genics Limited, publishers of eManager, an expert system that promises to change the way medics comply with best practice and regulations. This exciting new tool provides an instant solution to the considerable confusion in the market about how best to meet legal requirements and standardise practice throughout the PCTs.

For the first time, every member of the practice will be able to deal with an NHS complaint in a consistent and logical manner without any prior knowledge of the regulations. This easy to use eManager system typically takes no more than 2 minutes to learn.

“A product that is easily affordable and requires virtually no training is remarkable” said Mike Ramsden, Chief Executive of the NAPC “We are pleased to be the first to introduce this to the market, and see enormous possibilities for PCTs to instantly standardise procedures throughout their localities, with absolutely minimal effort”.

All procedures update themselves automatically if there are any changes to the legislation or best practice, which means the product is completely future proof and worry free. For PCT managers, this will prove to be the most effective tool in their constant battle to keep NHS providers up to speed and fully compliant with best practice and the latest regulations.

The new complaints regulations, which came into effect on 1st April 2009, now require all NHS providers to comply with these new set of rules. For PCTs, this places a new and substantially increased burden as all disciplines from GPs to Opticians, Dentists, and Pharmacists are now within this remit.

“Getting the message across, let alone ensuring standardisation throughout the PCT is going to be a mammoth task” said Bharat Patel CEO of X-Genics, “With eManager, paper cascades and training sessions at every turn of regulations could become a thing of the past. What we are able to offer is a turnkey solution that can be deployed immediately, with minimum fuss and effort for the PCT”

The “Incident Management Pack” is available now from X-Genics at www.xgenics.com with an exclusive discount for NAPC members. Call NAPC for specific pricing information.
